几种美国超市常见cheese简介

最最最常用和常见的起司~~常常被磨成粉或者是较短的条状,平易近人了不起的起司~也是绝对不能不认识的常见起司~其实parmesan是法文,所以念起来要有点文艺气息才象~霍霍~

在美国最常见的起司,因为比较没有那么硬可以被磨成条状或者丝状,很容易融化成酱~到处都可以加的样子

也常常见到它,pizza, lasagna上在可爱的拉丝就是它啦~

Brie /briː/ is a soft cows' cheese named after Brie, the French province in which it originated (roughly corresponding to the modern département of Seine-et-Marne). It is pale in colour with a slight greyish tinge under crusty white mould; very soft and savoury with a hint of ammonia. The white mouldy rind is edible, and is not intended to be separated from the cheese before consumption.The region in France that gave its name to this cheese (Brie) is, in the French language, feminine: la Brie, but French products take the gender of their general category; in this case cheese (le fromage) is masculine, and so Brie is also masculine, le Brie.

Feta (Greek: φέτα) is a brined curd cheese traditionally made in Greece. A sheep's milk cheese, varying amounts of goats’ milk may be added, as long as goat milk makes up less than 30% of the total mixture. Since 2005, feta has been a protected designation of origin product in the European Union. Although traditional feta cheese should only include sheep and goat's milk, it is quite common that cheese sold as 'feta' includes cow's milk, or even is composed exclusively of cow's milk. Feta is an aged cheese, commonly produced in blocks, and has a slightly grainy texture. It is used as a table cheese, as well as in salads, pastries and in baking, notably in the popular phyllo-based dishes spanakopita ("spinach pie") and tyropita ("cheese pie") and combined with olive oil and vegetables. Similar white brined cheeses (often called 'white cheese' in the various languages) are found in the eastern Mediterranean and around the Black Sea.

  • 500 ml whipping (36 %) pasteurized (not ultra-pasteurized), preferably organic cream
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Ricotta Cheese

Fresh and Extra Creamy Homemade Ricotta Cheese

同样是可以homemade 的甜点起司~比较light~ also from Italy~

  • 2 liter (½ gallon) whole milk
  • 1 cup whipping cream, preferably organic, pasteurized (not ultra-pasteurized)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice

           fondue的话,还是多一些人一起吃会比较好....烤棉花糖.... 怎么突然想念起你来呢~~
 
ps.同一天下午在麦迪孙街上看到的古怪饭店~~纽约真是什么都不奇怪啊~

          食物真的还好,而且有点小贵,完全因为餐厅环境不错才屹立5年生意还那么好~

          便宜又大碗的hibachi,每人加小费大概15块吧,还有hibachi表演可以看~在danbury果然什么都便宜啊~

事件:那天好像太饿了,结果忘记给主菜拍照,发现的时候已经吃完了....对不住啊....
          不过主菜手工意大利面真的也还好,有点讶抑,不是说主厨是给奥巴马同学做菜来的么~面咋这么硬叻?果然还是我们不懂得欣赏啊....
          个人觉得那天最好吃的是Cassoncini con Prosciutto di Parma
           本身这家餐厅有点贵的,菜单上都是意大利文,没有几个看的懂的....但是因为我们吃BRUNCH,所以就还好~

简单到爆炸的食谱:
*eggnog:面粉=1:1
*一咪咪盐
*烤盘400度(华氏)预热,奶油涂下烤盘
*15mins @ 400度(华氏)
搞定~还不错吃哦,不那么甜~搭配红茶真的很赞~
不过eggnog只有在感恩节前后才有,一般日子就可以用牛奶和蛋代替拉~~

最近....

最近好忙,上班,找新工作,准备考试,等椰子,照顾受伤的手指....
最近常常去NYC,面试,独立日,shopping...
最近去面试的故事好多, 比如去面试一家和美国国防部还有法国Airbus合作的小公司,隔天一架Airbus就掉下来了,本来说好好的,结果打来说他们要推迟雇佣新成员的计划...可能九月再打电话給我...总之,觉得怪怪的...还有无数Part time的公司給我电话,姐姐我想要有full time的工作啊,不然我干嘛换工作~~!!!更扯的是某IBM的contract打电话给我,自我介绍之后直接问,what's your status? 然后就说,we'll contact you later.... 拜托...不就是一个contract 么... 俺真的不稀罕~
其实,心情还不错,只要外面不下雨,就觉得有夏天应该有的心情。慢慢习惯了面对这个怪异的世界,也慢慢学会get the beauty of it.
每天放至少5件事在TO DO LIST,满足一点点自己的成就感,
每天提醒自己的幸运
每天感激自己拥有的
OK,啰里啰唆讲了一堆。
